Only tickets purchased before midnight, April 21, 2017, are eligible to win the VIP prize. Only tickets purchased before midnight, May 5, 2017, are eligible to win the Bonus prize.

*Only tickets purchased before midnight, June 2, 2017, are eligible to win the Early Bird prize. If all tickets are sold by the Early Bird ticket sales deadline, then all remaining draws will be completed by June 15, 2017.

**If tickets remain after the Early Bird ticket sales deadline, then only the Early Bird draw will be made on June 15, 2017. The remaining 146 prize draws will be completed by June 29, 2017. Final ticket sales deadline is midnight, June 16, 2017.

DRAW ORDER AND PROCEDURE

The first draw is for the two VIP prizes followed by the Bonus prize draw on Wednesday, May 17, 2017. The next draw is for the Early Bird draw; then draws are made in the order of the ascending retail value, beginning with the prizes of least retail value.

After each draw, including the VIP, Bonus and Early Bird draws, the winning ticket number is recorded and the ticket number is eligible for subsequent draws. Each ticket purchased before the VIP ticket sales deadline is eligible for 150 prizes. Each ticket purchased after the VIP tickets sales deadline but before the Bonus ticket sales deadline is eligible for 148 prizes. Each ticket purchased after the Bonus ticket sales deadline but before the Early Bird ticket sales deadline is eligible for 147 draws. Tickets purchased after the Early Bird ticket sales deadline will be eligible for the remaining 146 draws. All draws will be held at the offices of Ernst & Young LLP. The top valued prize draws may be televised at the Grand Prize Showhome.

Prize draws follow a strict set of procedures, with draw control oversight by Ernst & Young LLP and under licensing approval by the licensing body, Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority (SLGA).

Each prize draw will select one (1) winner at random. All draws are open to ticket holders. The draws will be completed using Random Number Generator (RNG). Top valued prize draws may be done manually with tokens, including the Early Bird Prize Draw and the top three home lottery prize draws.

In the instance where multiple tokens are inadvertently selected from the draw drum, and this is identified prior to the reading of the token number, Ernst & Young LLP will halt the draw immediately, tokens will be returned to the drum, and the draw procedure will be performed to determine one (1) winner.

In the event that multiple tokens are inadvertently pulled from the draw drum, and this is not identified prior to identifying and reading of the token number, the token number read aloud, confirmed and recorded is deemed to be the first token pulled and therefore established as the valid winner.

A draw will only be deemed valid and complete upon final confirmation and recording by Ernst & Young LLP.

† 50/50 Add-On and Cash Calendar Add-On tickets must be ordered in conjunction with your Kinsmen Home Lottery ticket. 50/50 Add-On and Cash Calendar Add-On orders will not be accepted after your original Kinsmen Home Lottery ticket order date.

A maximum of 200,000 50/50 Add-Ons are available for sale. There are 31 prizes in the Cash Calendar with a total prize value of $67,000. A maximum of 50,000 Cash Calendar Add-Ons are available for sale. Cash Calendar Add-On winner’s information will be posted daily on the lottery website from July 1 to 31, 2017, according to the sequential manner in which they were drawn.

In the event that all tickets are sold by the Early Bird ticket sales deadline of midnight, June 2, 2017, the Add-On draws will take place on June 13, 2017. If tickets remain after the Early Bird ticket sales deadline, the Add-On draws will take place June 27, 2017.

All winners of prizes will be notified in writing by Ernst & Young LLP as to what they have won and how to claim prizes. All prizes must be accepted as awarded with no cash equivalents available unless otherwise described in the brochure.

All prizes should be claimed within one (1) year of the applicable draw date. In the event that winners have not claimed their prizes within that period, and after reasonable attempts have been made to contact that winner (i.e. telephone, mail), then the prize will be submitted to a charity approved by the SLGA.

Total retail value of all prizes is approximately $1,284,294.11 including taxes. Prizes awarded may not be exactly as illustrated.

In the event of a sell out prior to the Early Bird deadline, a complete winners list will be posted online at KinsmenHomeLottery.com on June 21, 2017. If tickets remain after the Early Bird deadline, the winners list will be available on July 5, 2017.

The Grand Prize Showhome is awarded fully furnished, professionally decorated and landscaped. Possession date and title transfer: June 29 or July 14, 2017. Winner of the showhome prize will be required to sign a Full & Final Release prior to the transfer of home title.

Retail values are approximate as of the date contracts were negotiated with suppliers. Due to housing market fluctuations, the market value of the real estate prize may rise or diminish over time. Winner or charity is not entitled to the difference, if any, between the stated and actual market value at the time the prize is awarded. Prizes include taxes and freight, where applicable.

Personal information collected will be used to fulfill ticket orders, provide information on our future lotteries, contact prize winners and publicize the names of prize winners. The following and their immediate family members are ineligible to purchase tickets: executives of the Kinsmen Club of Saskatoon, and partners and employees of Ernst & Young LLP.

The liability of the licensee of the lottery shall be limited to the purchase price of the ticket.

The following statement will inform you as to how your personal information is collected and used in connection with the site, the purpose for which it is collected and used, with whom the information is shared, how long your information is stored, and what security measures are in place to secure and protect your information.

Collection and Use

For previous supporters, we retain the contact information collected from you at the time of your last ticket purchase. If you are a previous supporter who has provided us with your email address, we use this information to contact you about new lotteries. The database of buyer information used for this purpose was compiled from our previous purchaser records, both on and off line, and contains no financial information. You are also given the opportunity to unsubscribe from future lottery emails.

We do not automatically gather any additional personal information from you when you visit the site.

The email address that you voluntarily supply in the process of requesting a ticket is used for notification of future Kinsmen Home Lottery events. You have the option not to receive email notifications by way of a check box on the order form, emailing KinsmenHomeLottery@ca.ey.com or phoning 1-306-652-2500. If you are a past customer who has provided us with your email address, you may unsubscribe from future such emailings through the link provided in the advertising email sent to you. This email link contains a unique code that identifies you to the database and, for security purposes, is the sole means by which you can unsubscribe online.

The cell phone number that you may voluntarily supply in the process of signing up for text alerts will be used for sending you text message notifications of future such lottery events. You will have the option to cancel these text alerts by phoning 1-306-652-2500 or by replying STOP to any received text message.

Your mailing address is collected for two purposes: to send you your requested tickets and to invite you to participate in future lottery events. You have the option not to receive direct mail pieces by emailing KinsmenHomeLottery@ca.ey.com or phoning 1-306-652-2500.

You may also request access to the personal information we hold about you in connection with Kinsmen Home Lottery by emailing KinsmenHomeLottery@ca.ey.com or phoning 1-306-649-8210.

Disclosure

Information you provide in your ticket request form is shared with the professional services firm of Ernst & Young LLP for the purposes of order fulfillment. Your information may also be accessed, as necessary, by our other contracted service providers for the limited purpose of allowing such service providers to assist us in the administration of Kinsmen Home Lottery. Your personal information is not shared with any other organizations, unless required by legal duty or right. We do not sell, trade or lease our customer information.

Winners’ names will be published per Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority regulations.

Retention

A counter is used to measure the overall effectiveness of an email campaign. Individual visits from email links are not connected to any personal information, nor are they recorded. Similarly, links from banner advertisements are counted to measure the effectiveness of the ad placement, but are not linked to any personal information.

Security

Transactions with the server are protected via SSL encryption. Personal information is stored on the server in an encrypted format. The server is secured from intrusion both physically and from the Internet. We have made all reasonable efforts to protect the privacy of your personal information.
